TERMS.

By downloading, installing or using the services, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use them. The Privacy Policy explains what information the services collect and how it is used.

You need to be at least 13 years old to use the services. If you are under the age of majority where you live, a parent or guardian needs to agree to these terms for you.

Armory X is free. We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use it on Windows PCs you own or control, for as long as you follow these terms. We keep all rights to Armory X, mericanizedstudios.com and the mods we make, including their names and logos.

You may not:

• sell, rent or sublicense Armory X or the mods we make
• share modified copies of Armory X, or pass off a copy as made by someone else
• remove or change copyright and license notices

Armory X includes open-source software made by others. Those components, their authors and their licenses are listed in THIRD-PARTY-NOTICES.txt, which is installed with Armory X. Each component is covered by its own license, and nothing in these terms limits the rights those licenses give you.

Armory X can make real changes to Windows. De-Bloat removes preinstalled apps and changes Windows settings, the driver tools install graphics and other drivers, and the Cleaner permanently deletes the files you choose, which can include emptying the Recycle Bin. The Armory X System Helper runs these jobs with administrator rights.

You choose which changes to make, and you use these features at your own risk. Before making a change, read what it will do, keep backups of files that matter to you, and create a Windows restore point. Armory X creates a restore point before De-Bloat runs, but not before other changes. Deleted files may not be recoverable.

Drivers and Windows components come from NVIDIA, AMD and Microsoft, and are covered by their own terms.

Mods in Mod Hub are made by Mericanized Studios unless their listing says otherwise. Some mods need loaders or tools made by other people, which belong to their authors and are covered by their own terms.

Mods change game files. Armory X backs up the files a mod replaces, but a game update can stop a mod from working, and a mod can affect your game or its saves.

Using mods can break a game's terms of service or set off its anti-cheat, and using mods in online play can get your game account banned. Only use mods where the game allows them, usually in single-player or offline play. You are responsible for following each game's rules.

Mericanized Studios is not affiliated with or endorsed by the makers of the games Armory X supports, or by Valve, NVIDIA, AMD or Microsoft. Their names and trademarks belong to their owners.

An account is optional and only needed for some features, such as installing mods from Mod Hub or running a tester build as an approved tester. If you create one, give accurate information, keep your password to yourself, and tell us at support@mericanizedstudios.com if you think someone else has used your account. You are responsible for what happens on your account.

We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms or are used to abuse the services. We may also ban accounts and the PCs they are used on, for a set time or permanently. A banned account can't sign in, a banned PC can't run Armory X 1.0 or newer, and other accounts used on a banned PC are banned too. The banned person is shown the reason. You can delete your account at any time from your account page.

When you use the services, you may not:

• overload, disrupt or attack mericanizedstudios.com, Mod Hub or the systems behind them
• access another person's account or information
• reverse engineer, scrape or automate the services or their APIs to harm them, get around their security or limits, or reach content you aren't allowed to
• share Mod Hub download links or files so others can get around signing in
• upload or spread malware, or use the services for anything illegal
• send spam or abuse through the support form

We may change, pause or stop any part of the services, including mods in Mod Hub, at any time. Armory X checks for new versions and installs them only when you choose to. Older versions may stop working with the online services. Armory X 1.0 and newer checks in with mericanizedstudios.com, so it needs an internet connection the first time it runs on a PC and at least once every 7 days after that. Tester builds only run for accounts we approve as testers. Because the services are free, we can't promise they will always be available.

If you send us ideas or suggestions, we may use them to improve the services without owing you anything for them.

The services are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We don't promise that the services will be error-free, will work with every PC or game, or will not cause data loss.

To the fullest extent the law allows, Mericanized Studios is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost data, files, game saves, game accounts (including bans), profits or time, arising from your use of the services, even if we were told such damage was possible.

Our total liability for any claim about the services is limited to the greater of what you paid us for them in the 12 months before the claim, or US$50. Some places don't allow some of these limits, so they may not all apply to you.

You can stop using the services at any time by uninstalling Armory X and deleting your account. If you break these terms, your license to use Armory X ends. The sections on open-source components, no warranty, limitation of liability and governing law still apply after that.

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and of the state where Mericanized Studios is based, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. If you live somewhere whose laws give you rights that these terms can't take away, those rights still apply.

If these terms change, we will update the date at the top of this page, and say so on mericanizedstudios.com or in Armory X if the change is significant. Using the services after a change means you accept the new terms.
